Boko Haram Terror: Chad Accuses Jonathan, strong accusations of Jonathan’s involvement in….

Chadian President

Chadian President

Not too long ago, the Nigerien military accused Nigeria’s army of being cowards, for having been unable to battle Boko Haram. Nigeria via its defense spokesman, Gen. Olukolade responded by accusing Niger of supporting Boko Haram and providing the sect with insurgent fighters; very weighty accusations by any means.

The Chadians have come out harsher. They have leveled direct accusations at the Nigerian Jonathan-led government of repeatedly “stalling” the war against the dangerous terrorists for political gains. The Chadians have said as contained in a March 3rd Reuters report from their army spokesperson, Colonel Azem Bermandoa, that Jonathan stopped them from proceeded to recover terrorized territory under Boko Haram because Jonathan wants to do this himself whenever ‘his’ military gets to it, for ridiculous political points.

Chad did not just accuse the Jonathan government of stalling the defeat of the terrorists right now during this 6-week election war, but accused Jonathan’s behavior for the past months/years, pointing out that he (Nigeria) failed to “cooperate” with its neighbors to form the Multinational joint task force, MNJTF as agreed in the Paris summit of 2014. Chad claimed that due to choking of its trade with Nigeria by the terrorists it unilaterally decided to take action against the terrorists in Nigeria this January, without necessary permission from President Jonathan.

In the unfolding embarrassing and exposing row between the two auspicious partners, the truth behind Boko Haram and its unusual success in West Africa for the past 6 Jonathan years, as well as the truth of this 6-week election war to finally crush or deactivate the terrorists is coming to the open.

Not only is Jonathan’s midnight friend, his Chadian counterpart, (with whom he signed that treacherous September 2014 cessation of fire-against-the-terrorists “agreement” that allowed Boko Haram recoup, occupy more territory in Borno as well as the top half of Adamawa state, while killing thousands more Nigerians) accusing Jonathan of stalling the war against the terrorists and allowing Nigerians continue to live under the government of the murderous barbarians, but Idriss Deby is also contesting with Jonathan over Boko Haram’s nine-life leader (or his current double as the case may be). As Jonathan announced, surprisingly, that he will capture Boko Haram’s Shekau (Shekau” is a title akin to “Emir”) alive; his Chadian counterpart ensured he shared pants with Nigeria’s president by stating that he knows where Shekau is.

In our article last week, [Boko Haram 6-Week Election war: the Chad MoU, Prisoners of War and Other Critical Questions; ENDS.ng, Feb. 28, 2015] we raised some pertinent, urgent issues, making essential inquiries into the details of the Memorandum of Understanding, MoU between the Nigerian army and their Chadian counterparts. We are yet to get an official government response.

In the absence of Nigeria formally informing its people the truth about its engagement with the Chadians, we the people are left no option than to believe what we choose of what Chad says including: the accusation that Goodluck Jonathan stalls the war against the terrorists; that Jonathan did not cooperate with the MNJTF thus directly leading to the Baga massacre of over 2500 defenseless Nigerians and that Goodluck Jonathan continues to use Boko Haram for political purposes.

Our people do not deserve to spend an additional hour, talk less day under Boko Haram government – not for Jonathan’s politics, nor for any other purpose whatsoever. Fighting Boko Haram and providing the people of Nigeria the essential human right to life, security and opportunity, is not a favor by Chad or Nigeria’s government but a duty and responsibility that deserves to be fulfilled exigently.

We summon the Nigerian government to defend themselves and confess and come out clean to tell Nigerians and the observing global community all we need to know.

#OgbeniWellDone! Osun Last on Federal Allocation But First in Poverty Reduction In Nigeria

Mid Term Report 2015 - Osun is last on federal allocated revenue

Mid Term Report 2015 – Osun is last on federal allocated revenue

Thumbs up for the unusual Governor of Osun for the first 6 months (JAN. – June) of 2014. The Federal Accounts Allocation Committee (FAAC) responsible for the distribution of revenue accruing to the nation’s purse did a mid term report of what each state in the Nigerian Federation have collected in the first six months of this year 2014 and, lo and behold, Osun is the least allocated state in Nigeria with a paltry N19.6 Billion Naira about 14% of what Akwa Ibom, an oil-rich State takes home.

The real story however is not what or who takes home, but how well have this allocations been beneficial to the citizens of each State. That is where the Poverty Reduction Index for the Federation called Nigeria comes in to the fore. The Statistician-General of the Federation/Chief Executive Officer of, National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), DR. Y. Kale has revealed Osun as the the State with the Least Poverty rate in Nigeria. Aregbesola has aggressively pursued job creation for youths and increased productivity/efficacy of human resources through training and skill acquisition. We understand the simple correlation between what Aregbesola has done and what Osun is currently lauded for even by global bodies like UNICEF, WORLD BANK and others.

We say, “Well done” for your great and unprecedented achievements in Osun with this “meagre” Federal allocation. It is a proof of economic wizardry, of high level of prudence and financial intelligence by Ogbeni Aregbesola’s administration.

Chief Nyesom Wike

Wike squanders N60bn in in JUST 30 days; without any project – APC raises alarm

Chief Nyesom Wike

Chief Nyesom Wike

The Rivers State All Progressives Congress (APC) has accused the state governor, Governor Nyesom Wike for extravagantly spent over N60 billion within his first 30 days in office.

The APC made this revelation known, following the approval of N30bn loan requested by Wike, by the State House of Assembly.

According to the party’s calculation, the former governor of the state, Governor Chbuike Amaechi left the sum of N7.5bn, Federation Account and Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) gave N23bn to the state, totaling to over N60bn. Which means, Wike has over N60bn to squander within 30 days without any project.

While other governors are busy with projects that would develop their states and improve the standard of living of people, Wike is busy supervising the liquidation of the economy of the state, APC added.

While sympathizing with the people of Rivers state, because of the unfortunate circumstances that are rocking the state presently, the party however, appealed to the people to patience as the rightful owner of governor’s seat will soon take over, as soon as the Election Petition Tribunal send Wike to where he rightfully belong.

Osun 2014: FG Plans To Cripple My Government Before August 9 Election – Gov. Aregbesola

Osun State Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola

A group in Osun State has called on National Judicial Council to discipline the judge that called for impeachment of the State Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.

It will be recalled that Justice Folahanmi Oloyede has written a petition to Osun State House of Assembly, asking the House to impeach Aregbesola for the alleged unpaid workers salaries,

Its amazing, that a serving judge would descend so low to the level of a political spokesperson, seeking for the impeachment of a sitting governor. We are asking the Judicial Council to sanction the judge in order to restore sanity to the Judiciary.

Our Judges are placed in high positions, they were often seen as the mouthpiece of God Almighty, so its discouraging and disappointing, when any judge is found in this kind of mess.

According to the group, all the allegations leveled against governor Aregbesola were without any evidence, and the petition was just meant to damage the good record of Ogbeni’s administration.

We therefore called on the Judiciary to sanction Justice Folahanmi, in order for sanity to be restore back to council.

IN DETAILS: Gbajabiamila’s Presentation to President Buhari

General Muhammadu Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari

1. On the 9th of June, 2015, 174 APC members in the House faithfully and loyally followed the directives of the party to vote for Hon Femi Gbajabiamila and Hon Mongunu as Speaker and Deputy Speaker while 39 other APC members colluded with the opposition party, the PDP, to elect the current Speaker and Deputy Speaker with only eight votes superiority. The party directive was based on the mock primaries conducted for all aspirants to the two positions.

2. Whereas the candidates of the majority (Gbajabiamila and Mongunu) openly congratulated the winners and continued to cooperate with them in the House, the opposition and the 39 APC members continued to hold the APC leadership in contempt.

3. Whereas we the 174 Party faithfuls and loyalists had been obedient to the Party, what shall be the reward of our loyalty to the Party?

4. The Party has chosen not to punish the 39 APC members including the elected Speaker and Deputy Speaker, but chose to direct, as it is customary and conventional, on how the other four (4) Principal Officers should be distributed. Alas! The opposition and the 39 members continue to hold the ruling Party in contempt by disobeying the party.

5. Whereas, the beneficiaries of the disobedience are citing Federal Character Principle as the main reason for their disobedience, His Excellency should note that:

(a) During the 6th Assembly (2007-2011), the following officers were elected from the NORTH-WEST
(I) The President and Commander in Chief
(ii) Ismaila Kawu
(III)Hon Mutawalle. The two occupied 2 out of the 4 principal officers positions of the Minority Party
(iv) Hon Aminu Tambuwal was elected Deputy Chief Whip.

(B) Also during the 7th Assembly, the following officers in Government were elected from the NORTH-WEST

(I) The Vice President
(II) The Speaker, Rt. Hon Aminu Tambuwal
(III) Hon. Ismaila Kawu, Deputy Minority Leader
(IV) Hon. Garba Datti, Deputy Minority Whip

Femi Gbajabiamila

There was never an issue of Federal Character in these instances.

6. It should be noted that the Federal Character principle as embedded in chapter of the 1999 Constitution (as amended) IS NOT JUSTICIABLE AND OF NO LEGAL CONSEQUENCE. Its provision in S.14 of the Constitution is only applicable to appointments in Federal Ministries and Agencies. The House of Representatives is not an agency of the Federal Government and the principal officers positions are elective and not by appointment. If the Federal Character is applicable to the National Assembly, then both the Senate President and the Speaker cannot come from the North, one of them should be advised to step down.

7. It is noteworthy that Mr. President and the Governors had strongly put their weight behind the party and had severally admonished the House to abide by the party’s position. The 39 APC members in the House continue to collude with the PDP to flagrantly disobey Mr. President, the governors and the party with a view to bringing the Party and Government to ridicule before Nigerians.

8. The conduct of the 39 APC members colluding with the PDP is tantamount to affront, ultimately targeted at polarising our Party so as to give room for many of them to decamp to the PDP.

9. It is therefore imperative for Mr. President to take a stand and save the integrity of the Party, by cautioning, the 39 members, which include the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker, to respect, honour and obey our Party Leaders and their directives.

10. In conclusion, Mr. President, we as loyal Party members shall continue to abide by the Party constitution, respect and honour our party leaders and their directives. We strongly appeal to you to direct the Speaker to return to our fold and be truly elected Speaker on APC platform. He should be directed to announce the other four Party Principal officers positions as directed by the party as it has always been the convention.

11. We sincerely appreciate Mr. President for the audience trusting in his ability to successfully mediate so as to save our great party, the APC, from further embarrassment.

Why FG should review abortion laws for B’Haram victims – UN

United Nation

The Federal Government of Nigeria has been appealed by the United Nation to review the abortion law for the sake of young girls and women who have been sexually abused, enslaved and force into motherhood by Boko Haram sects.

This appeal was made by United Nation Rights Chief, Zeid Al-Hussein. He said, most of the Nigerian young girls and women, who were held captive for month in den of boko haram, were raped and forced into marriages with the terrorists.

Al-Hussein said, of a truth, abortion in Nigeria is illegal, except when the life of the woman is in danger . Considering the unfortunate situations these women find themselves, we thereby call upon the Nigeria authorities to provide free access to safe abortion.

Some women and young girls, who were formerly captured by boko haram, and in the process got pregnant, have reportedly wished to terminate the unwanted pregnancies but were denied.

We therefore called on Nigeria government to review law restriction on abortion and provide access to safe abort
for sexually abused women.

Buhari Repositioning Nigeria For greatness…

interiors of the presidential officeA reputable chieftain of the All Progressive Congress in Edo state, Chief Francis Inegbeniki has expressed his strong love for the personality of President Buhari and the way he is repositioning the country for change.

He reportedly said that President Buhari is not a conventional President who works like other previous Presidents we had before but that the President is unusual and the changes he is initiating here and there will ultimately bring about a turnaround in the economy of Nigeria for the better.

He finally urged Nigerians to be fervent in their prayers as this will strengthen the President to do even more exploit for the greatness of the nation.

Femi Gbajabiamila

This is what Gbajabiamila’s group discussed with Buhari

Femi Gbajabiamila

Femi Gbajabiamila

Nigeria President, President Muhammodu Buhari had met with Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila and other All Progressives Congress (APC) members of the House of Representatives loyal to Gbajabiamila .

During the meeting, the APC members of the House of Representatives urged the President to intervene in the current crisis rocking the National Assembly.

They urge Buhari to talk to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, to go with the party’s decision on the sharing of the principal offices.

It will be recalled that Yakubu Dogara emerged the Speaker of the House of Representatives on 9th of June, 2015 with 8 votes. This was against the party’s choice of Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila. 174 members of the House loyal and faithful to the party’s directive voted for Femi, while the 39 unfaithful joined hands with the opposition members, voted for Dogara.

Although the party has decided not to punish the 39 members and the Speaker, but they should at least respect the party by following it decision on principal offices.

The group therefore, called on Mr. President to intervene and save the integrity of the Party before its too late.

The meeting was peaceful and successful. Mr. President is a party man who will always uphold party’s supremacy, Femi confirmed….IN DETAILS: Gbajabiamila’s Presentation to President Buhari

After the court ruling declaring the former Aviation minister acquitted of corruption charges yesterday, tongues have started waggling not necessarily because the controversial erstwhile minister changed his name to David Oluwafemi Olukayode but because of the young lady just walking elegantly beside him everywhere he went.

Information circulating the media says that the former minister dumped his legally married wife recently for a new beauty pageant, who he reportedly bought a car for recently.

However, the formerly known Mr. Fani-Kayode has said he changed his name in honor to God for His grace and blessings in his life.
